D. P. Sharma
Durga Prasad Sharma, better known as D. P. Sharma (born 1 May 1969), is an Indian computer scientist and disability rights activist. Early life and career Son of a small farmer Ninua Ram Sharma, Durga Prasad Sharma was born in Samona village of Rajakhera Tehsil in Rajasthan, India. He was the youngest brother of the second number among 5 brothers and 3 sisters. His left arm and right leg are affected by post-polio syndrome. After completing his primary level education, he had to walk 18 kilometers daily from his village Samona to attend the school in Rajakhera. Later he completed his degree-level education (BSc) from Government College Dholpur, Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Information Technology, as well as Ph.D. (Intranetwares) from University of Rajasthan, India. Dholpur
Dholpur is a city in the Dholpur district in Rajasthan state of India. It is situated on the left bank of the famous Chambal river. The city is the administrative headquarters of Dholpur District and was formerly seat of the Dholpur princely state. Dhaulpur became a separate district in 1982 comprising Dholpur, Rajakhera, Saramathura, Bari and Baseri Tehsils. Dholpur district is a part of Bharatpur Division/Commissionerate. Greater Noida is a Planned community, planned city located in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Beall's List was a prominent list of predatory open-access publishers that was maintained by University of Colorado librarian Jeffrey Beall on his blog ''Scholarly Open Access''. The list aimed to document open-access publishers who did not perform real peer review, effectively publishing any article as long as the authors pay the open access fee. Originally started as a personal endeavor in 2008, Beall's List became a widely followed piece of work by the mid-2010s. Its influence led some publishers on the list to threaten defamation lawsuits against Beall, as well as to lodge official complaints against Beall's work to the University of Colorado. Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, or Clean India Mission is a country-wide campaign initiated by the Government of India in 2014 to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management. It is a restructured version of the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan launched in 2009 and carried out by predecessor Manmohan Singh that failed to achieve its intended targets.
